Pomos is a traditional fishing village and benefits from local facilities which include several shops, beachside tavernas and a bank. The dramatic coastline offers a sharp contrast of lush green mountains, beaches which are a combination of sand and stone, therefore, appearing black in colour and crystal clear turquoise waters. The harbour is the focal point of local life with fishing boats laden with nets and the "catch" of the day.
